Massey, John Charles Age 53, of Davenport, FL and longtime resident of Fox Point, died April 6, 2008, of lung cancer. Preceeded in death by his father Theodore Robert Massey and his brother Steven. Survived by significant other Margaret Vogt. Cherished by his mother Lois Massey Gredell (stepfather Gordon Gredell), sister Gwen (William) Massey Tietz, niece Noah, Bozema, MT, brother David (Julie) Massey, and nephew Peter, Cedarburg. Loved by Richard Massey, uncle, San Francisco; Ellie, Laurie and Earl Vogt, Milwaukee, and many others. John's life was a celebration of people and nature, as reflected by his favorite song, Louie Armstrong's "It's a Wonderful Life," which was played at his Memorial Service in Davenport, FL, on April 9, 2008. It was great to see John at our 30th reunion - he was just as fun and bright as he was in high school. I remember him as one of the "very cool guys" in our church youth group. I'm sure his light is shining brightly in heaven - glad to have known you, John, enjoy dancing with the stars.
