"Coach" Lester Hochtritt led us in the "Knights - Fight Song" during at our 35th reunion. When his choir was not articulating enough to his satisfaction - - - he "assertively" requested a repeat performance with more decibals . .
Hochtritt, Lester O. "Coach" Of Fox Point. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Merry (nee Bleecker). Dear father of Kurt Hochtritt and Lisa (Jeff) Moreland. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, June 30, from 9AM to time of Funeral Services at 11 AM. Interment in Lake Mills will be private. Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church, Glendale or Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, P.O. Box 636, Port Washington, WI 53074 would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Lester was retired as a math teacher and coach at Nicolet High School after over 30 years of service. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Hochtritt was always a kind teacher. He treated everyone fairly and impartially. I enjoyed him as one of my high school teachers. We were honored to have him join our 35th reunion and he added to the festivity by entertaining us with his music. That re-connection will be treasured more than ever now. Thank you for being part of my memories, Mr. Les Hochtritt.
