I retired from Nicolet in 1998 after 30 years of teaching. I can honestly say they were great years and that I was doing what I was supposed to be doing. Since I've been five, I have been on one side of the school desk or the other. This remains true. The great state of Wisconsin allows us "old farts" to audit classes for free at all state universities. I am actively involved taking literature courses at UWM, since reading and classic literature is my passion, and will continue to do so till they carry my desicated bones out. I am also actively involved in my Scottish heritage through the St. Andrews Society of Milwaukee as the accompaning photo will attest.
