Moved to California after graduate school at UW Madison in 1979. Taught Bilingual Ed. in Los Angeles for 5 years. Married Ira and moved south to Orange County and have been living there for 24 years. Ira worked as an investigator for INS and is now retired. I have worked in the public schools and private sector for over 20 years, mostly at a Jewish Dayschool. I am now a religious school principal at our synagogue in Mission Viejo. My son Danny is 22 years old, graduated from UC Santa Barbara, now lives in Israel, and will be joining the IDF this Winter. My daughter, Joni, 20, attends Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She is a business major and dancer.
Life is still busy, but I don't like being an empty nester. We are looking to move in a couple years out of California and enjoy our retirement.
